Below are presented the brief notes of the daughter of a New Martyr of the Communist Yoke in Russia: the priest of God Yakov. Here is a recollection - one of thousands - which testifies to how the good pastors of the people were annihilated by the atheist regime, and how defenseless children suffered. Through the darkness of Soviet reality, there shines here a radiant and beautiful image, seen through the eyes of a child: the image of a courageous and humble pastor of Christ's flock, and of a dedicated and loving father.
